If a dog bites a child it is not always the dog's fault as
young children can torment pups, sometimes they will warn the child by growling or moving away from it over and over, but if the child persists it might bite.
I never let my kids torment my animals, and if a child is cruel to an animal and will not listen, you need to discipline the child, it's better than being bitten by a dog whether it is your dog or not.
Small dogs are great with kids but you have to understand that it will only be good if perents don't let children torment the dog or pup as they feel threatened, as they're a lot smaller than the child.
Childen under 10 will be the most likely to be annoying to animals do not let them anoy the animal EVER.
NEVER let your pup play bite with you as it will get bigger and the bitting will get more aggressive.
Teach your child to ask the owner if you can pat there dog. And never let them run up to a dog as it might get fightend and bite, and make shore the dog is sitting and has good manners, if not, don't go near it.
Kind Regards Paulene
This is my 3rd painting I have done ever.

She had a Ass-ma atack, Racheal and I walked the dogs every day in the bush and along the beach + spent heaps of time together with the kids.

My kids, that day my Girls team won 12 to 1.
This is Tiger & Tinkerbell there best freinds.
This is why people should not be able to breed dogs if they aren't going to breed them properly.
Tinkerbell has got an overbite jaw and also had to get 3 teeth taken out, and tinks sister Mako also had 2 teeth out as well, both have overbites and cannot eat food unless broken up into small bits.
Tinkerbell also had to have her eye removed because she had a blocked tearduct.
Because of this she has had a painful life and now she is a much happier little dog again.
So please if your going to breed please do it properly.
And a free dog has cost me about $1000.00.
If you have a dog and are going to breed with it make, sure you have homes for the pups and that people will take them and look after them properly.
If you would like a cross breed pup get one from the animal welfare.
Don't breed just so you can keep one pup as the rest might end up in the pound and your female dog (doesn't need to have a litter at all it is not true).
So think about the animal and not your self.
Be aware of some cross breed pups as they might look cute but can grow up to be aggressive as it might be in their breeding & can have some medical poblems which might cost thousands.
People at the time will only take the animal home and some times the animal is not right for the family.
Desex at 6 months of age females and males, to desex a male it is a great idea as it will calm the dog down and stop it roaming the streets and eliminate bad behaviour.
Never leave your young children alone with your dogs unless you or another adult is sitting with the child.
SO DESEX YOUR ANIMALS OR DO IT THE RIGHT WAY OR NOT AT ALL.
Kind Regards Paulene.
